Protein Blueberry Smoothie

This smoothie is very thick and dense. I suggest making this in the morning since it will keep you full for a long time.

I made this smoothie before a run a couple of weekends ago and it wasn't the smartest idea. I started getting cramps a mile in my run and it wasn't fun. I had to stop a couple of times to let the pain go away. I had cramps partly because I drank the smoothie to fast and the smoothie was very filling. Look at my picture below, you can even see how thick it is!

On the brighter side, what I love about this smoothie is it kept me full for a long time AND the amount of antioxidant I got. Did you know that blueberries are filled with antioxidants, fiber, potassium, folate, vitamin c and vitamin b6? The amount of fiber in blueberries helps lower the total amount of cholesterol in the blood that helps decrease the risk of heart disease?

Sundays is usually grocery shopping day at my household. The first thing I usually grab at the store is a box of blueberries or raspberries. I don't grab a box to put it in my basket, I grab a box to open it and eat it! I snack on berries while I shop. Don't worry! I pay for them at the counter. I am one of those shoppers that takes a while when shopping for food. A while means I can take 2 hours at the grocery store. When shopping, I look at all the choices I have and compare the prices and ingridients. Since I can take a while shopping, I  usually get cranky and hungry so I prevent that from happening by eating a box of berries! They are so tasty, so sweet and so good for your health.

To update you about my personal life, I am still looking for a new position. I really hope I find the right place for me soon! Also, new things are coming to my blog! more exciting recipes, more cooking videos and maybe a new tab?????? Yes, I am in the process of creating a new tab. I cannot tell you what it is yet, but I am so excited!!!!!
