Oven-Baked Chex Mix

I have to apologize to everyone. I haven't been posting because it's been crazy at our house. We were going to move but after discussing it together. We decided to stay. It will be for the better. And I am excited. We are currently buying new furnitures to make our apartment look brand new and let me tell you, Mitchell has good taste. I think I am good at putting clothes together but I suck at putting furnitures together. Mitchell picks were amazing and I cannot wait for it to be all done!

I added cheerios in this recipe and I wasn't sure how it was going to come out. oh man, when I tasted it, I loved it. It's my second favorite part of this chex mix. You have to just try adding HONEY NUT cheerios, I swear, you won't regret it. If you use regular cheerios, it will still taste good however it won't taste the sweetness you'll get from the honey nut.

The cheerios adds a sweet taste into the salty crunchy chex mix which creates a perfect balance. I cannot wait to make this again. Mitchell loved it and he kept coming back for 2nds and 3rds bowls!

Don't be scared to add more butter or worcestershire sauce. The recipes is listed to bake for an hour. You can taste the chex mix during the 30 min cooking time and you can determine whether you want to add more seasoning. Just make sure you coat the whole tray evenly.

I cannot believe snyder's came out with gluten-free pretzels bites. They are absolutely delicious. If I was to choose between regular pretzels and gluten-free pretzels, I would totally pick the gluten-free ones. It's lighter, less salt but still crunchy!

Serves: 8- 10 people

Level: Easy


6 cups Rice Chex

3 cups Corn Chex

2 cups Honey Nut Cheerios

1 cup cashews

1 cups gluten-free bite pretzels

8 - 10 tablespoon butter

6 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder


Preheat oven to 250F

In a large bowl, combine rice chex, corn chex, cheerios, and pretzels

In a small bowl, melt butter in the microwave. Mix in the worcestershire sauce. salt and garlic powder

Slowly pour the seasoning mixture over the cereal mixture.

Mix evenly.

Bake for 1 hour. Stirring every 15 minutes.



Take away the stress by prepping the night before. Cooking will be much more relaxing. 


Don't be afraid to adjust the seasonings the recipe requires you to have.
