2 pork chops (bone in)
2 Tbs chili powder
3 Tbs paprika
4 Tbs Coriander Seeds, crushed
5 Star Anise, crushed
2 fresh sprigs of Thyme
4 cloves of garlic
2 Tbs olive oil
Olive oil for cooking
salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 200F
Combine chili powder, paprika, coriander seeds, star anise, thyme, garlic and olive oil in a bowl.
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.
Brushed the chili powder mixture into the pork chops. Marinate in the fridge for 30 min.
Heat olive oil in a pan, brown both sides of the pork chops (5 minutes)
Put the pork chops in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes @ 200F.
Take away the stress by prepping the night before. Cooking will be much more relaxing.
Don't be afraid to adjust the seasonings the recipe requires you to have.
